Vilvoorde, September 2026 — Komatsu is introducing the PC300-10M0 CE hydraulic excavator to meet the needs of African customers. This pure 30-tonne-class machine in civil engineering specification is designed for general construction, particularly urban projects such as road building and land development.

With an operating weight of approximately 29,600 kg and a 1.5 m³ general-purpose bucket, the PC300-10M0 CE pairs a practical machine size with the power and durability needed for demanding jobs.

Its six-cylinder engine works with a 6.15 m boom and 3.20 m arm to support a versatile range of site tasks. A high-efficiency fuel filtration system, proven Komatsu components and a ROPS/OPG cab complete a specification focused on dependable operation and operator protection.

The PC300-10M0 CE expands CE excavator line-up of Komatsu in Africa, joining the existing PC200-10M0 CE. It gives customers a 30-tonne-class option for civil engineering and general construction applications.

Focused on cost performance per hour

The PC300-10M0 CE is designed to help customers achieve strong cost performance per operating hour. Its size and configuration make it well suited to civil engineering and general construction work, where versatility and operating costs are important considerations.

“Customers across Africa need machines that deliver dependable performance while keeping cost per hour in focus. The PC300-10M0 CE brings together a practical 30-tonne-class configuration with Japanese design, Komatsu genuine components and the versatility to support everyday civil engineering and general construction work,” says Jean-Philippe Soussan, Construction Manager Africa & Regional manager North Africa.
