Vilvoorde, July 2025 — Komatsu is proud to announce the release of the PC200-10M0 CE hydraulic excavator in the African market, a pure 20-tonne class machine specifically optimised for general construction and civil engineering applications (CE). This model is being introduced alongside Komatsu's existing flagship, the PC210LC-10M0.

The PC200-10M0 is engineered to offer a low initial cost combined with high performance, ultimately leading to a reduced total cost of ownership with the best performance in cost per hour. This makes it an ideal choice for urban construction projects, including road construction and land development.

Built on the globally popular Dash 8 excavator series, the PC200-10M0 CE ensures Komatsu quality, durability and reliability by incorporating an jobsite-proven engine and hydraulic components for a cost-effective performance.
This model also features a Roll Over Protection System (ROPS)/ Operator Protective Guard (OPG) level 1 compliant cab, main valve, hydraulic piping, and electrical devices from the Dash 10 M0 series, as well as work equipment and main pump adopted from the Dash 8 M0 series.
Complementing the All-arounder PC210LC-10M0
The PC200-10M0 CE is specially designed to cater to African customers who prioritise cost performance per hour in civil engineering and general construction.
For operations demanding heavy loads, such as in mines or quarries, Komatsu will continue to offer its flagship PC210LC-10M0. This model provides the best cost performance per ton and is suitable for all segments, including the most demanding applications.
